glider project
regular glider
conclusion
1. I didn't find any terms difficult to comprehend.
2. It was hard trying to get the neutral point in the correct location without changing the mass above 8 gm.
3. AERY software is very self explanatory so I did not face many problems with the software itself.

canard style
conclusion
1.It was very difficult to find out how big and where the stabilizer should have been placed
2.These constraints were different because everything was a little bit smaller than the first glider. The upside of the constraints is that you could make the components as small as possible.

construction
Evaluation and data
On my first flight I used the launcher, and it flew 25 ft. The glider went directly up and when the angle of attack was too much, the glider stalled and went directly down. For the second flight I adjusted the elevators so it wouldn't go straight up. I also just used my arm to throw the glider, however i think when i threw it my arm was at an angle and the glider went right into the wall after just 15 ft. After my second adjustment of the elevators, I used the launcher again and the glider went a smooth 69 ft, before being stopped by a table.
Cutting out the triangular piece for the launcher to catch onto.
Finished Glider
Flight of 46 ft.
conclusion
1. The glider was not as stable as I had thought because On AERY it said that the stability was 0.00. I assume that AERY thought this because I put the nose mass at 0.01 gm.
2. I sanded a lot of my glider to make it less resistant. I sanded the wings, vertical stabilizer, and the horizontal stabilizer.
3. It took me four attempts to achieve a flight of >50. I did expect this because my plane was the best.
